“Abigail” And Mark Greene’s Mom Alive

In the September 19 episode of DOOL, we get to see greedy Clyde Weston blackmailing “Abigail” to marry Chad DiMera.

He wants her to secure the DiMera fortune. In order to threaten them Clyde tells “Abigail” and Mark Greene that he is keeping their mother as leverage. He asks Mark to help Abigail get Chad, else two of them will never get to see their mother again.

Here Clyde’s threat to the Greene family is a clear hint that the Greene siblings’ mother is alive. And it may be him who has the idea about her whereabouts. But where is she?

 But Who Could There Mom Be?

It is established on the show that Greene sibling’s parents had died in a car accident. John Black is still grieving, burdened by guilt for killing their mother Catharina in the accident.

But what if the whole accident was a facade and Catharina is still alive? This will be a blessing for not only the Greene siblings but also for John because then he will be able to lead a guilt free life.

When John was kidnapped following his visit to Catharina’s grave he was found in the same place where Jack Deveraux and Chad were looking for “Abigail”.

This incident helped Steve Johnson establish a connection and since then became suspicious of Catharina’s death.

We cannot deny the power of soap operas. In this world, dead people come back to life, all the time.

Also considering how Clyde Weston is manipulating the Greene siblings and “Abigail” it looks like Catharina is actually alive and may be ready to make a comeback anytime soon.

John and Steve to Help the reunion

If Catharina is alive then we should expect none other than two of our heroes John and Steve to do the needful. John and Steve could go looking for Catharina with all their efforts and reunite the mother with her family.

Obviously, this will help John help him with his guilt and Steve prove his intuitions right. But whenever this happens it will be the Greene siblings to be the happiest ones as they will meet their mother.

Also, Mark and Abigail will not have to be Clyde’s puppet anymore and Clyde will be powerless in front of them.
