Work on the 6th season of “Virgin River” has started in earnest – the writers returned to work last month, and the crew can already plan to return to the set, because the actors’ strike has also ended. In the meantime, one of the writers shared some bittersweet news about the 6th season.

Virgin River season 6 – how many episodes will there be? What awaits us?

Ildiko Susany, one of the writers of the series, gave an interview to The Viewer’s Perspective. As we read, the 6th season of “Virgin River” will consist of 10 episodes, which is the same as the first three seasons. Seasons 4 and 5 were longer and had 12 episodes each, but as you can see, we shouldn’t get used to this number. Susany said that work on the scripts will soon be completed, and the plot of the next series will focus primarily on the relationship between Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson).

Will the heroes’ journey take them to the altar? Fans do not hide that they are waiting for their favorite couple’s wedding. Perhaps season 6 of “Virgin River” will finally fulfill their dreams, or at least that is what Matt Webb Mitovich, a journalist from TVLine, suggested:

The first part of season 5 of “Virgin River” was full of twists and turns – we saw, among other things, a fire in the town and the surrounding forests, and during the evacuation, Mel lost a child.
