Coronation Street spoilers reveal Paul Foreman will ask brother Kit Green to keep an incident from Billy Mayhew next week on the ITV soap, ahead of his sad death

Coronation Street’s Paul Foreman will keep a worrying incident from partner Billy Mayhew next week, despite concern from his brother Kit Green.

Paul suffers another health scare in upcoming scenes, ahead of his sad death on the ITV soap. Viewers know that the character was diagnosed with motor neurone disease last year, and his health has declined between then and now.

Upcoming scenes will see the character sadly pass away leaving his loved ones devastated. In an upcoming scene set to air next week, Paul suffers another coughing fit as his breathing issues continue.

But he’s keen for his partner Billy Mayhew to not find out, wanting Billy to enjoy a night out. Billy has been worried about leaving Paul recently, but with Kit spending time with him Billy is encouraged to head out.

In the clip, Kit is torn as his sibling tells him not to mention the coughing fit to anyone, especially Billy. Worried it will happen again, Kit tells Paul he should say something.

But he figures out Paul knows Billy will return home if he finds out, urging Kit to stay quiet. Kit then tells his brother he’s enjoyed spending time with him, with Paul then commenting he doesn’t have long left to live.

Kit vows to spend as much time as he can with Paul before he dies, something his brother appreciates. A Corrie trailer released this week confirmed the character would die soon, most likely in September.

In the trailer, his loved ones are seen crying as an ambulance takes him away and he’s rushed into hospital. Billy is then seen running somewhere in a panic, with a press release teasing: “The race is on to get Billy to his bedside to say his final goodbye.”
