The following article contains spoilers from an episode of EastEnders that hasn’t aired on BBC One yet, but is available to view on BBC iPlayer.
Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) has gone into cardiac arrest following a crowd crush at Peggy’s in EastEnders.
Yesterday, Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) sabotaged Penny’s (Kitty Castledine) event at the bar by increasing the amount of available tickets online.
While it looked like Penny and Zack (James Farrar) hadn’t done a very good job at promoting the event, it also opened up the opportunity for more people to attend, despite the evening nearly being at full capacity before Chelsea meddled with the booking system.
As more people filed into Peggy’s, Walford residents inside like Peter (Thomas Law) and Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) quickly realised things were getting out of hand.
With Peggy’s incredibly overcrowded, a panicked Zack tried to encourage people to leave. However, with exits blocked due to the crowd, they were all trapped.
In tonight’s episode of the BBC One soap, Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and Freddie (Bobby Brazier) realised the only free exit was inside an office, where Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Junior (Micah Balfour) were continuing their affair.
The door burst open and Lauren was knocked to the floor as a result of the sea of people.
