Coronation Street will see two characters exposed next week – with an unlikely person seemingly being the one to expose evil villain Joel Deering for what he really is
Two characters could be exposed on Coronation Street next week – for very different reasons.
Joel Deering has so far managed to worm his way out of things, despite viewers – and now some of the residents – knowing he is responsible for the attack on Lauren Bolton and grooming multiple young vulnerable women. However, it looks like he could be in trouble next week when Dee-Dee finds out that Joel used to work with a firm that helps vulnerable people. Will she find out more about what he’s been up to – or will he manage to avoid justice again?
However, later in the week, Carla heads to the Chariot Square Hotel to meet with a supplier. When she sees Joel walk in, she bides her time and heads over to his table, where she tells everyone he tried to murder Lauren. How will he react?

She is left terrified and dashes out, whilst Leanne continues to support Rowan. When she’s left alone, she checks his laptop and is puzzled to find a file named Leanne and another one named after her sister Toyah and husband Nick, what will she find?
Joel actor Calum Lill was warned things would get “very dark” for his character when he auditioned for the show.

It is a serious topic so it was important to me
