AnnaLynne McCord Made Daytime Debut In June
It was announced in December 2023 that actress AnnaLynne McCord was joining Days Of Our Lives as a new character named Marin. She starred in the 90210 reboot. She also had roles in Nip/Tuck and more.
The actress made headlines in 2021 for her personal life after revealing she was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder. The mental health disorder was previously called multiple personality disorder. Ironically, DID is a popular storyline trope on soap operas.
Due to the filming schedule of DOOL, AnnaLynn McCord didn’t appear on screen until June 2024. By that point, fans were already speculating about Marin’s true identity.
Secret Role Revealed On DOOL
Shortly before AnnaLynn McCord’s first appearance, Days Of Our Lives started mentioning Abigail Deveraux. The legacy character is the daughter of Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves.) She was last seen on-screen in July 2022 when the character was murdered. Marci Miller last played the role after Kate Mansi left.
Abby’s distraught husband Chad (Billy Flynn) received a cryptic hint from Clyde (James Read) that Abigail might be alive. That led to a video that showed a mystery woman (played by AnnaLynne McCord) in an empty room.
Chad and Jack eventually tracked her down and rescued her from captivity. The mystery woman didn’t know who she was either after undergoing plastic surgery and suffering from amnesia.
A DNA test revealed her identity. AnnaLynne McCord is playing a very much alive Abigail Deveraux. Now what?
