Although Paige’s storyline has caused quite a stir in the latest Christmas episodes, it appears that Paige will not be returning to Virgin River. Paige left early, despite Preacher’s pleas to stay. No, Paige left, looking for a better future for her son Christopher, with whom Preacher had such a good relationship.

Smith says Paige will not be returning. Preacher’s storyline from now on will focus on his new love interest, Kaia. Preacher met firefighter Kaia in the fifth season when there was an immediate spark. Just as the two grow closer, Preacher will be confronted with events from the past that could easily throw a spanner in the works.
