EastEnders viewers ‘work out’ who Fraser is working for – and it’s not Dean Wicks

The Six were left panicked as Linda was tempted to take a deal that would see Dean off the hook for Keanu’s murder, but some fans think they know who is behind the latest twist.

EastEnders viewers are convinced Fraser is working with Aunt Babe in a twisted revenge plot on Linda Carter.

Earlier this week, Fraser showed-up to The Queen Vic and claimed to be an associate of Dean Wicks who is currently locked up in prison for the murder of Keanu Taylor. In a worrying twist for The Six, Fraser offered the pub landlady a deal – retract her witness statement and he will confess to her rape.

Despite Johnny Carter urging his mum to not accept Dean’s deal and warned that it could re-open the murder case, Linda insisted she wants Dean out of her life for good and a fresh start.

Johnny also reminded Linda that Dean is not a man of his word but she wouldn’t change her mind. Linda explained herself to Johnny, and while he warned his mum that Dean won’t necessarily stick to his word, she remained firm.He also suggested that Sharon could go down for murder, but Linda told Johnny that Jack Branning had said they could still prosecute Dean on other evidence.

Johnny called an emergency meeting with Denise, Sharon and Jack as he explained Linda’s plans to retract her statement, leaving them all panicked.

Meanwhile, Linda met up with Fraser at Peggy’s to accept the deal and asked for the details to be documented. But when she went to the bar to get Fraser a drink, he made a phone call and confirmed that the deal was done.

“Yeah it’s me, all done”, he told the mystery caller, “Please, she’s eating out the palm of my hand. I’ll see you later then”, before hanging up.

But shortly after, Jack arrived and arrested Fraser for blackmail and perverting the course of justice, with Johnny having given him a heads-up about what Linda was doing.

Linda was furious with her son for getting meddling in her life and stated that she didn’t need his help.

But while locking up at The Vic, Linda spotted an envelope addressed to her on the bar. She opened a letter which said: “I know what you did at Christmas. Liar!”, but who sent it?

EastEnders fans are predicting Aunt Babe is the one who is trying to bring Linda down. She is Shirley Carter’s dodgy aunt who was thrown out of The Vic in 2017 following a feud with Mick and Linda.

Taking to X, one person wrote: “The font of that writing is just sooo Aunt Babe, but it makes ZERO sense for her to be Linda’s blackmailer # EastEnders.”
