Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown shared her love for castmate Tina O’Brien as she shared a personal message on social media. The pair are best known to fans for playing Dee-Dee Bailey and Sarah Barlow in the ITV soap.

For Tina, she has almost grown up in front of viewers’ eyes having joined the soap back in 1998 before taking a break after 10 years on the cobbles. She then returned in 2015 and has been a mainstay in Weatherfield ever since.

On Wednesday (August 7), the soap star took to social media to reveal it was her 41st birthday, with her age often coming as a surprise to fans.

Tina was resharing a bunch of birthday wishes from her friends and fans on her Instagram Story, including one from Channique. She posted a black and white picture of the pair cuddled up together at an awards bash alongside a gorgeous selfie from the Corrie cast’s Christmas party last year.

“Happy Birthday Queen T!” Channique, who joined the soap in 2022, typed alongside the images. She added: “Love you lots,” with a double pink heart emoji.

Former co-star Catherine Tyldesley also took to her own Instagram platform to send a message to Tina. The actress, who played Eva Price in Corrie from 2011 to 2018, said:
