More trouble has come to Linda Carter this Monday as EastEnders viewers were introduced to a newcomer with seemingly sinister intentions, claiming to have a link to Dean Wicks.
Linda Carter risks losing everything as Fraser made his arrival this Monday on EastEnders.
Struggling to cope after the Christmas murder of Keanu Taylor, the pub landlady portrayed by Kellie Bright has also been tormented by the presence of Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) in the Square.
Haunted by her own conscience and with her alcohol addiction spiralling out of control, Linda only managed to somewhat regain control over her life by framing Dean Wicks for Keanu’s murder once his body was found.
Unfortunately, no deception goes unpunished in the BBC soap as Linda was coldly reminded by Fraser, who made his Walford debut this Monday, August 5, ahead of Dean’s trial.
Viewers tuned into the London-based drama on BBC Two this Monday as the Olympic Games have wreaked more havoc in the soap schedule for this week.
Upon his arrival in Albert Square, Fraser quietly spied on Linda, following her straight to The Queen Vic, where he revealed his identity along with a chilling ultimatum from Dean Wicks, his “associate.”
Fraser’s presence in The Vic kitchen was testament to Dean’s sinister nature as the newcomer told Linda she had to retract her witness statement against, in the case of Keanu Taylor’s murder, if she ever wanted him to confess to raping her a decade ago.
Linda found herself mocked by Fraser over her reliance on booze as he questioned whether she’d be in a fit state to testify but she was quickly saved by her mother Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) who kicked the Scot out of the pub – but not before handing his number over to Linda.
Shaken by the impromptu meeting, Linda resorted to drinking her sorrows once again, while viewers empathised with her situation. One penned on X, otherwise known as Twitter: “Come on Linda don’t let Fraser get to you.”
