Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has been trying to do some soul-searching and make some improvements to his life. DOOL fans have seen Leo putting the work in through his therapy sessions, but there are still some regrets that haunt him.
Of course, one of Leo’s worst mistakes was betraying Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), who was his BFF until all that drama with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) happened.
Leo still feels terrible about destroying his friendship and would like to make things right.
During the week of July 29-August 2, Days spoilers say Leo will get an old friend on the phone.
Since Leo obviously doesn’t have many pals, it’s reasonable to assume it’ll be Gwen.
That’s especially true since all signs point to Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) looming Days exit – and that could free her up for another role swap.
It looks like O’Brien is set to reprise her role as Gwen, but for how long? Will it just be for this brief phone call or could a longer Days stint be on the horizon?
Leo would certainly love to see Gwen return to Salem, so it’s possible he’ll try to convince her to come home.
Perhaps Leo will apologize and play up the fact that Dimitri has now dumped him.
Leo’s heartbreak could make the pain he caused Gwen a little easier to tolerate.
Gwen might even find herself commiserating with Leo a bit under the circumstances.
This could be a chance for Leo to make amends with Gwen and finally get their friendship back on track.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is also in town again, so Leo might see the potential for Gwen to rebuild her relationship with her father, too.
The timing would be great since more Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) drama is set to erupt soon.
As Abigail’s half-sister, Gwen needs to be part of the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) mess that’s about to heat up.
Whatever the case, our predictions point to Leo getting in touch with Gwen and maybe pushing her to make a Salem comeback.
