EastEnders have seemingly confirmed a second return after Jane Beale – played by Laurie Brett – reunited with her family

EastEnders have hinted a second return is on the way after Jane Beale’s shock appearance.

Laurie Brett has returned to the BBC soap for a short stint and now fans are convinced another fan favourite is on their way back to Walford. Ian had lied to Cindy and travelled down to see Jane in Gloucestershire to try and help her connect with Bobby again. However, little did they know, Cindy and George – and Bobby and Peter – were hot on their heels.

Bobby and Jane finally reunited but at first, it was not the reunion they had wanted. However, in the end, Bobby accepted Jane’s present for his birthday and agreed to see her again.

When Ian asked if Jane was single, or seeing someone, she insisted she wasn’t before saying it was “none of his business anyway”. She added: “I told you, after us, I just wanted to be on my own. It wasn’t easy leaving.

“But when I got here, I just needed time to be different – not the person I was back there.” Talk then turned to Bobby and how she was worried he would never want to see her, as her and Ian hugged. When he leant in to kiss her, she pushed him off her.

After a later phone call, it was revealed that Jane is now back dating Masood, fuelling rumours he could be heading back to the Square soon too. One fan wrote: “Jane is with masood. Please come back to the square… @LauriebrettX @GanatraNitin #EastEnders.” A second added: “MASOOD IS COMING BACK TOO????? CHRIS CLENSHAW #Eastenders.”

“God I am EXCITED for Masood to come back!!!! #EastEnders,” a third wrote, with a fourth adding: “jane on the phone to masood so he might be coming back?? lucy’s murder and how it’s still impacting everyone being discussed !!!! we are SO back #eastenders.” A fifth penned: “MASOOD IS MAKING A RETURN
