New Coronation Street spoilers have revealed hospital drama for Nick and Toyah, leading to a Rowan twist, as well as the return of a villain and emotional scenes for Billy and Paul

Coronation Street is lining up big scenes according to new spoilers for the ITV soap, from a return to more drama with Rowan Cunliffe.

Following Toyah Battersby’s ovarian cancer diagnosis, she has a hospital appointment next week that leaves her concerned. Amid drama with nemesis Rowan, she finds her sister Leanne Battersby is not there to support her.

Instead, her brother-in-law Nick Tilsley steps up to support her, weeks on from their secret fling. But as Rowan meddles once more and Toyah realises someone is following them, taking photos of them, Nick takes action.

But what will Nick do, and will he make matters worse as Rowan continues to blackmail them over their affair? There’s the continuation of the Lauren Bolton twist next week too, as she appears to be hiding out at Joel Deering’s flat.

Pregnant Lauren, who is secretly expecting Joel’s baby, has yet to expose him it seems, and instead she’s staying with him. It seems there’s an exit plan on the horizon for her, with Joel eager to get her away from Weatherfield.

When Joel raises suspicions over the contents of his flat, he has to think fast. Later in the week, Lauren is bored and reaches out to pal Max Turner – but will she end up exposing her whereabouts and her true link to Joel?

It’s not clear how Joel wins Lauren around, after he coerced her into a sexual relationship earlier this year before attacking her, and leaving her for dead. Lauren has nowhere to go with residents against her over the Roy Cropper drama, so might she turn to Joel?
