EastEnders fans have been left swooning over Sharon Watts’ new transformation in the latest episodes of the BBC One soap that are available to watch now on iPlayer.

In the latest trip to Walford, which airs on Thursday (July 4), the blonde bombshell introduced herself to newcomer Teddy Mitchell, and he wasted no time in flirty with her.

It was the morning after the night before for the Mitchells who had a boozy lock-in at the Boxing Den as the family got to know one another. But Sharon wasn’t happy with the state of her gym and gave Teddy a piece of her mind.

“Are you the reason my gym is a mess”, she asks Teddy with an unimpressed expression.

“Yeah sorry about that darling”, he replies but Sharon soon shuts him down and warns: “Do not call me darling!”.

Teddy replies with a softer tone and apologies: “I’m sorry babe, I’m just trying to explain. There was a reunion with the Mitchells and well a lot of catching up to do.”

“I’ve got paying customers trying to work out around beer cans and pizza boxes”, Sharon blurted out before demanding they sort the mess out.

Sharon left an impression on Teddy who later invited her for a drink in The Queen Vic.

“I’d said I’d win you around”, Teddy cheekily tells Sharon as he confirms their rubbish is now cleared up.

Sharon replies: “You’re wasting your time”, as Teddy insists: “I haven’t tried yet. Let me buy you a drink, and then decide. One drink now where is the harm in that.”

Despite Sharon and Teddy flirting up a storm some EastEnders viewers were left distracted by Sharon’s hair transformation. The Walford icon appeared to have slightly darkened her blonde locks as they fell passed her shoulders in a slight curl.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person wrote: “Need a one-hander just about Sharon and this hair. I’m obsessed. #EastEnders.”

A second stated: “The way Tish Dean rocked up in two scenes purely to serve high camp – we are not worthy #EastEnders.”

A third chimed in with: “Sharon’s hair is giving OMG #EastEnders”, while another added: “Letitia Dean: serving high camp as Sharon Watts since 1985 #EastEnders.”

Other EastEnders fans urged Teddy and Sharon to get together, with one fan stating: “Sharon and Teddy are definitely gonna be a thing #eastenders.” “I’m here for Sharon and Teddy. Can see the chemistry already #EastEnders”, exclaimed another.
