In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Bethany shows the company credit card statement from Lazaret to Shona.

Shona spots a supermarket transaction and suggests it might have been a ‘click and collect’, and she should phone them in case there’s some CCTV footage.

What or who will Bethany discover?

Some Coronation Street fans suspect the person in question will be Lauren Bolton, who has been missing since earlier this year.

However, others are convinced Joel (Calum Lill) is actually behind the fraudulent actions as part of his double life.

While Weatherfield residents are in the dark about Joel’s involvement in Lauren’s disappearance, Corrie viewers are fully aware of what he’s been up to.

So when a viewer took to X and asked: “Who’s stolen Bethany’s credit card she shouldn’t even have?” many replied with his name.

One wrote: “Joel Joel Joel! ! ! !”

Another added: “I think Joel used Bethany’s credit card?”
